My Dreams!

Hey!
Everyone has dreams. Things they want to achieve in life, things they want to do, places they want to go, people they want to meet, things they want to see. Some people dream big, others not so much but a dream is still a dream no matter what it's size.

I believe, that no matter how far away or hard your dreams seem, you should always go after your dreams and you should never, ever give up on them. Even if people tell you you can't do it, you should always try. You are the only person who can make those dreams come true

As we are talking about dreams today, I thought I would share with you a few of my bigger, life-long dreams:

1. Move to the USA.
2. Travel the World.
3. Become a primary/elementary school teacher.
4. Get married to someone I truly love.
5. Have children with someone I love.
6. Be happy with my life and myself.
7. Be successful in what I do.
8. Have no money problems/worries.
9. Grow old with someone I love.
10. For my mum and dad to grow old together with no money or family worries.
11. For my brothers to be happy and worry free no matter where they end up.

There are just a few of my life-long dreams.
What are your dreams?

My Top 3 Must-Have Hair Products!

Hey!

I was looking through all the posts I have on this blog and I realised something. I don't posted very regularly. To some people this might not be a problem but to me it is. I like schedules and order so I am going to try something.  I am going to try and post twice a week (Wednesday (ish) and Sunday (ish)). I am going to try and do this for 1 month and, at the end of the month, I am going to review my progress and make improvements. Look at me being all organised and serious, impressive right?

Anyway, this post is going to be about 'My Top 3 Must-Have Hair Products'. Recently I have really got into hair care and I have found some products which I use all the time. These products get a lot of loving from me so I thought it was only right to talk about them and share them in a blog post.

My Top 3 Must-Have Hair Products:

1. Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-In Conditioner.

I hate using conditioners. I need to use them but I hate using them. My hair is oily and conditioners just make it worse. I have also always had a problem with my hair being dry. Now your probably thinking 'Jess, how can you have dry AND oily hair at the same time?', well my lovely's I will tell you. The roots of my hair are very oily. They get dirty and oily very easily and I hate it. The ends of my hair however are extremely dry. I cut my dead ends regularly but the end of my hair is still very dry. This makes it a problem when buying conditioners. I need something light enough to not make my roots oilier but moisturising enough to make my ends stop being as dry. This is where this amazing product comes in. It is light because it does not get washed out therefore has to be light because it sits in your hair until you next wash it. It is also amazingly moisturising. I spritz it all the way through my towel dried hair and it works a treat. It makes my hair soft and moisturised while not leaving it oily or heavy. I highly recommend this product to everyone and I love it to bits.

2.Hairspray.

Name that movie anyone?

I know. Hairspray is a staple product but I just love the stuff. I don't have a specific brand or type of hairspray that I love, I just love hairspray in general. My hair goes 'staticy' a lot and I find it very hard to control but hairspray keeps it a bit more.... errr whats the word? Rained in? Basically it stops it going 'staticy' and keeps it in place. I can't leave the house without spraying in bit of hairspray and I don't think you should be able to either.

3. Dry Shampoo.

I love dry shampoo. As I have said before the roots of my hair get very oily and dry shampoo basically saves my hair on so many occasions. I used to love 'Batiste' dry shampoos but then I discovered 'Pro:Voke Touch Of Silver Silver Revitalising Dry Shampoo'. The 'Touch Of Silver' line is meant to be for 'white or platinum blonde hair' and I don't have either of those but it works really well for me. When I used 'Batiste' dry shampoos, I got white marks in my hair (even though I have blonde hair) but, with this dry shampoo, I get no white marks and it keeps my hair looking matte for longer.

I hope you enjoyed this post and are excited for the new posting routine. If you liked this post please take a moment to follow this blog and I will speak to you all Sunday.

Jess's Jabbers: Work Experience Day 1!

Hey!
Today was my first day of work experience and, to be honest, I think it went pretty well. I got put in a year 4/5 (ages 8-10) mixed class and, all in all, I enjoyed it a lot.
I know its only my first day but I think I could be a really good teacher in the future.
The day was pretty normal. I listened to kids read and helped them with work. I played games with them and look after a small group in the ICT room.
That is pretty much it for today. I will keep you posted on how it goes.

Jess's Jabbers: Work Experience Intro!

Hey!
From Monday 11th-Friday 15th of February 2013, I am going on work experience. If your not from the UK   you might not know what work experience is. In year 10 (ages 14-15), pupils go and work in a working environment for 5 days (1 school day week).
You can work anywhere from a shop to a bank and some people even go away to do it. For example, a girl last year went to London to work at a magazine for a week and a boy this year is going to France to work at a bakery for a week.
But I am not going away for it. Actually, I am going to be a classroom assistant at my old primary school. I know what your thinking, everyone goes to a primary school because its easy and the hours are good. But, for me, it is more than that.
I want to be a teacher. I am not sure weather I want to teach primary or secondary school but I want to be a teacher. If I taught primary school I would want to teach year 2 (ages 6-7). If I taught secondary school I would want to teach English. This week is going to show me weather I completely want to be a teacher and, if I want to be, weather primary school is right for me or not. If I don't want to be a teacher I think I would like to be a lawyer. I don't know why but the law really interest's me and I think I have the qualities that would make a good lawyer.
Anyway I am hoping to do a couple of 'Jess's Jabbers' posts to document my work experience. My school has given me a booklet that I have to fill in about it but I would like to document more than that. This post is meant to be a little intro post about it.
As it is an intro post I thought I would tell you the things I want to get out of work experience:

-A better idea of what I want my future career to be.
-A better understanding of what working in a adult environment is like.
-To improve things like my communication skills and my work ethic.
-To understand the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/classroom assistant.

I hope to write a blog post everyday from Monday to Friday about how my work experience is going and my thoughts on it. Wish me luck.
